Announced on September 3, 2025, the FP 48, alongside the FP 55 and FP 70, completes the new Fountaine Pajot sailing catamaran range. As the worthy successor to the Tanna 47, it benefits from the latest advancements in layout, equipment, and technology, while remaining easily maneuverable with a reduced crew.
With a hull length of nearly 15 meters, the FP 48 impresses with the efficiency of its layout. The saloon and cockpit are seamlessly integrated thanks to a 3-meter-wide sliding door that completely opens up this space. At the aft, a relaxation area close to the water; on the coachroof, a generous lounge with sunbeds; forward, an optionally fully decked bow. The hardest part will be choosing where to relax. An unprecedented owner's area for a sailing catamaran of this size: the suite occupies the entire port hull, with its multifunction room convertible into a dressing area. Three versions are available: Maestro and Full Maestro (3 cabins / 3 bathrooms) and Quintet (5 cabins / 5 bathrooms) for intensive charter. Equipped with 2,300 W of solar panels fully integrated into the coachroof, the FP 48 is also available in a hybrid ODSea+ version for clean and silent autonomy.

The saloon and cockpit are seamlessly integrated, thanks to a 3-meter-wide sliding door that completely opens up this space. Aft, a relaxation area closest to the water: unwind on the chaise lounge, bask on the large cockpit settee, or join the sunbeds on the coachroof lounge. The cockpit table comfortably seats 8 guests, as does the coachroof lounge.

3 cabins / 3 bathrooms. Classic owner's configuration: owner's suite in the starboard hull with private bathroom and office, and two double guest cabins with their bathrooms in the port hull. The benchmark for a family or couple program wishing to retain space for guests.

HARDTOP
A rigid hardtop, molded from composite, is installed above the cockpit, supported by a set of 5 stainless steel posts, ensuring a strong and durable structure. This hardtop includes a fixed window with a blackout curtain, allowing natural light in while providing the option to block the sun. It also features an access hatch to the flybridge, facilitating movement between the cockpit and the flybridge. An integrated lighting system completes the setup, enhancing comfort and usability of the cockpit in the evening or in low light.
